Operating at the heart of our business, Shared Services offer efficiencies to all of our Brands by providing centralised resources and competitive synergies for the Group. The Shared Services Teams work across all Brands and are responsible for a huge range of activities from delivering product to over 40 countries worldwide, to achieving award winning store designs and handling 100,000 Customer Care calls each year. Within Shared Services there are over 1,000 employees working across 16 distinctive departments including International, IT, Finance, HR, Logistics, PR, Property, Digital and Sourcing.
Reporting directly into the Head of Audit & Loss this role is required to lead & inspire a team of Loss Prevention Mangers in delivering an effective & efficient Loss prevention service to the brands. Specifically in relation to Stock loss, Cash loss, People Protection and Premises Protection. This role has a direct interface with the Supply Chain Director and requires someone who is able to communicate and influence at all levels.
Day to Day:
To develop & deliver brand loss prevention strategy in line with needs of the brand & business objectives to minimise risk.
Act as a ‘business partner’ to the brand, building relationships and liaising directly with Brand Management, in particular the Retail Ops Director, Regional Controller and Retail Ops Manager.
Provide expert advice on all areas relating to Loss Prevention, in particular to Retail Management, Regional HR & Training & Retail Operations.
To handle all escalated regional Loss Prevention issues always looking at the bigger picture and striving to add value to the business.
Collate statistical reports and information requests in line with agreed timetables or where necessary.
Deputise for the Head of Audit & Loss Prevention as and when necessary.
Manage brand Loss Prevention budget in a commercial & cost effective manner.
Possess analytical, statistical and numeracy skills with attention to detail and acute observation and listening skills
The ability to conduct both internal and external investigations to a successful and professional conclusion
A team player with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise to meet targets and deadlines
Strong planning and organisational skills
The ability to be able to influence and obtain commitment from others
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Flexible approach with the willingness to travel and stay away from home at short notice when required
Able to work on their own initiative with discretion and professionalism and to maintain confidentiality at all times
Demonstrates strong leadership skills and evokes passion and commitment from others
