JOB TITLE: Supplier Management Co-ordinator
DEPARTMENT: Supplier Management (part of Arcadia’s central Supply Chain department)
PURPOSE OF JOB: Assisting in managing and developing supply chain standards and ensuring these are applied with the supply base and within the Arcadia Brands and Distribution Centres.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Arcadia procedures for suppliers

  • Support team to ensure the Brands and Suppliers are aware of, understand and implement best practice which affects the supply chain
  • Advise B&M and Suppliers on Quality and Delivery standards
  • Support Distribution Centre Supplier days (preparation and presentation)
  • Support department special projects
  • Manage Supplier Management inbox

Procedures and communication

  • Prepare and send communication on supplier-related issues, both to individual and groups of suppliers
  • Assist in maintaining and publishing the Arcadia Supplier Handbook, and approve content of other group handbooks and supplier procedures
  • Develop training solutions for use throughout the supply chain
  • Assist with the publication of the Arcadia Annual Responsibilities report

DC Supplier Compliance support

  • Supplier Management contact for DCs
  • Assist with issues on behalf of Brands
  • Assist with resolving queries with DC, ensuring fast throughput of stock and corrective action by suppliers
  • Manage waive forms to recharge incorrect charges
  • Manage drop charges

Analysis

  • Run reports and collate information packs for all areas mentioned
  • Spreadsheet creation and data entry
  • Analysing data
  • KPI monitoring

  • Ability to prepare, analyse and report on data

  • Time management and organisational skills to achieve deadlines and work under pressure
  • Experience with data entry and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent MS office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Organised and methodical
  • Team player and self-motivated
  • Ability to connect and form strong working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of DCs, suppliers and carriers
  • Working knowledge of company structure, especially B&M and Technical Services
